Create your account and first invitation

By the end of this guide you'll have a free account and a saved animated invitation, ready to preview on your phone. You can prepare everything without paying. You only pay when you want your links to work for guests.

1. Choose a design

   Browse the designs

   Open all invitations and filter by occasion, or sign in and go to My invitations → Create a new invitation. There you pick the occasion under What are you celebrating? and see the designs made for it.

   Look before you choose

   Every design has a Live demo that shows exactly what guests will see. See Try a design with the live demo.

   Start with your names

   Click Use this design (on animated designs the button reads Try it free with your names). You don't need an account yet.

2. Fill in the four steps

The create page has four steps, with a live preview of your card beside the form (on a phone, tap Preview in the bottom bar). Sample text is shown until you type your own.

   Your details

   Type your names, family names and message. If the design comes in more than one colour, pick one under Colour of your invitation. Click Continue.

   Your functions (or When & where)

   For a wedding, tick every function you're inviting guests to and give each one a date and start time. For other occasions you add one date, time and place. See Add your functions for details.

   Photos & contacts

   Everything here is optional: photos, contact numbers, a Reply by date and the Language of the invitation website. Click See my invitation, or Skip for now to add them later.

   Your invitation is ready

   Check your cards and click See the invitation website. You can type a Name of this invitation, which only you see on your dashboard. Then click Save & continue.

3. Create your free account

   Sign up

   If you're not signed in, Save & continue takes you to Create your free account. Enter your Full name, Email and a Password (at least 8 characters). The WhatsApp number is optional, but it helps us confirm payments. Click Create account.

   Your invitation saves itself

   You come straight back and your invitation is saved. Everything you typed is kept. You land on the invitation's Overview with the message “Your invitation is ready!”.

   Follow “Your steps”

   The Overview has a checklist: Details & functions, Design, Guests & links and Go live. The next step is highlighted, so you always know what to do next.
