InviteGala doesn't send messages for you. Each one goes from your own WhatsApp, so guests see it comes from you. We fill in the message for you, with each guest's name, functions, seats and link already typed.

1. Set your message once

  1. 1

    Open the message

On Guests & links, click WhatsApp message.

  2. 2

    Edit the wording

Change the text however you like. Words in braces are filled in for each guest: {name}, {functions}, {seats}, {link}, {hosts} and {names}. The preview below shows how it looks for your first guest.

  3. 3

    Save

Click Save message. Reset to default brings back the original wording.

The default message

Assalam-o-Alaikum {name}! With great joy, {hosts} invite you to the {functions} of {names}. Seats reserved for you: {seats} Please open your invitation and reply here: {link}

2. Send to each family

  1. 1

    Tap WhatsApp

In the guest list, tap the green WhatsApp button next to a name. WhatsApp opens their chat with the message ready. If you didn't save a number, choose the chat yourself.

  2. 2

    Press send

Check the message and send it in WhatsApp. The guest is marked Sent automatically.

  3. 3

    Work through the list

Filter the status to Not sent to see who's left. If you shared a link another way, use Mark as sent in the … menu.

3. Groups and broadcasts

  • Family WhatsApp groups: use WhatsApp next to the Main link, or next to a function link.
  • Circles of friends or colleagues: send a group link once; everyone replies with their own name.
  • Status and stories: send a video or still picture from Design & media. See Download your videos and image cards.

Next: Track opens, replies and headcount.
