Plans change: a venue moves or the Walima starts an hour later. You can edit your invitation at any time, including after it's live, and every link you've sent shows the change straight away. You don't need to send anything again.
Changes guests see straight away
- Names, family lines and message: Details & functions → Your details → Save details.
- Dates, times, venues, maps and dress codes: Details & functions → Functions → Edit → Save function.
- Card designs and colours: Design & media.
- Music, envelope, RSVP options and guest information: Settings → Save settings.
- A guest's functions or seats: Guests & links → click the function chips next to their name, or Edit guest from the … menu.
Changing a venue or time
- 1
Edit the function
Open Details & functions → Functions and click Edit on the function.
- 2
Save
Change the date, time or venue and click Save function. Its card and your website update.
- 3
Check it
Click Open website at the top of the page to see what guests now see.
- 4
Remake any files you shared
Videos and downloaded pictures don't update by themselves. On Design & media, click Remake on the affected video and download fresh image cards if you sent them earlier.
- 5
Let guests know
For a big change, send a short WhatsApp message so guests open their link again. It's the same link as before.
Changes that stop old links working
Most edits are safe. These ones change or remove a link, so anyone holding the old one can't open it:
- Changing a Function link when editing a function.
- New link (old one stops) in a guest's … menu.
- Deleting a guest, a group link or a function.
- Turning the Main link off (guests on the main link then see that it was shared privately).
- Adding an Access code under Settings → Privacy. Guests then need the code to open the invitation.
