Wishes from your guests
Let guests leave duas and messages on your invitation, and hide or delete any you don't want shown.
1 min read
Your invitation can include a guestbook where family and friends leave duas and congratulations. Wishes appear for everyone straight away, and you can hide or remove any of them from your dashboard.
How guests leave a wish
- 1
Find the guestbook
Near the end of the invitation is the Wishes & duas page.
- 2
Write a message
Guests type their name (private-link guests already have theirs filled in) and a dua or note.
- 3
Post it
They tap Post wish. It appears on the invitation for everyone to read.
Guests can also leave a Message for the hosts with their RSVP. Those messages are private and only appear on your Replies tab, not on the guestbook.
Read and manage wishes
- 1
Open Wishes
Open your invitation, click the Replies tab, then the Wishes pill. You'll see every wish with its name and time, newest first.
- 2
Hide a wish
Click Hide to remove a wish from your invitation without deleting it. It's marked Hidden on your dashboard.
- 3
Show it again
Click Approve on a hidden wish to put it back on the invitation.
- 4
Delete it
Click the bin icon and confirm to delete a wish permanently.
Turn the guestbook on or off
Go to Settings → Invitation page and use the Wishes & guestbook switch, then click Save settings. When it's off, the guestbook page is removed from your invitation. Wishes already posted stay on your dashboard.
Wishes stay on your dashboard for as long as you keep the invitation. Deleting the invitation removes them along with everything else, so copy any you'd like to keep (for a scrapbook or a thank-you post) before you do.
